Chloë Sayer

Entrances and Exits (March 2007)

Chloë Sayer is a freelance specialist in Mexican art and culture. She has made ethnographic collections and carried out fieldwork in Mexico for the British Museum. She co-curated the exhibition The Skeleton at the Feast: The Day of the Dead in Mexico (1991-1993) at London’s Museum of Mankind, and co-wrote the accompanying book. During the 2004 Belfast Festival, she curated El Día de los Muertos: The Day of the Dead at the Naughton Gallery, Queen’s University. She is currently working on another book about the Mexican Days of the Dead for Thames & Hudson. Chloë Sayer has lectured for galleries and museums in Great Britain, Australia, Canada and Ireland, and has worked as a television consultant on documentaries about Mexico for the BBC and Channel 4.
